A-Trak and Diplo Spin Robyn

DJ extraordinaire A-Trak and uber-producer Diplo have recently spiced up offerings from dancepop queen Robyn, giving us reworkings of two of her 2010 tracks.

First, A-Trak spins it up with an edit of "Indestructible." It doesn't have the acidic blips of a lot of A-Trak's stuff, but he throws in some great strings toward the end and starts to edge that way eventually. It's a high energy take on a song that can sometimes drag.

Diplo takes a shot at "Dancehall Queen," a song that he himself originally produced. This time, he recruits Spoek Mathambo and Stenchman to help out, dropping the song into a dubstep wobble. I'm not a huge fan of the re-work, but I'm not a huge fan of dubstep, so I wanted to pass it along for the dubbers amongst us. I do find Diplo's brand of dubstep among the least offensive, and can get into this track if I'm in the right mood.

For me, though, Robyn's "Cry When You Get Older" is about as good as it gets.
