This weekend was full of early Christmas presents: the Red Sox trade for Adrian Gonzalez, the Pats crush the Jets, and we won a fun ultimate tournament. The only thing really missing was some solid holiday cheer, which unfortunately I haven't really been feeling yet this December. I have been trying to rectify that by listening to a lot of Christmas music, especially those that have some soul and funk. I guess it will probably sink in once we get our first snow and I finish all these papers. But this sweet MEAT NATIVITY sure is helping too! Enjoy the classic tunes and keep an eye out for our end of 2010 lists that should be coming out soon and our obligatory Sufjan Christmas post coming up soon.
Mabel Scott - Boogie Woogie Santa Claus (YSI)

BONUS: a pretty straightforward, yet charming track from Air Waves
