Wow, I have some great music this week. I'm going to start off with a few tracks from Woods, a lo-fi psych outfit. Woods does an incredible job creating fuzzed out, woodsy jams that surround the listener. From the unique vocals to the hand clap breakdowns, Woods runs the gamut from the soundtrack to a weekend hiking, or a bonfire dance party. The most interesting aspect of Woods is how they alternate so easily from gentle, languid songs to more driven, rhythmic compositions with some BIG guitar solos. Really great cover art as well. Definitely hipster folk.
