This post is not about Mick Jagger, but about something equally monumental in the world of music: hand claps. Plain and simple hand claps are pure magic as a rhythmic device and adding them in a remix - gold. A band has taken hand claps one step further and named itself after them. The Phenomenal Handclap Band is surprisingly eclectic with an abundance of great rhythms and dare I say it (sorry Edward Said) Asian flavor. Check out their track Tears and the stellar remix by Stallions that takes full advantage of the hand clap for a dramatic rhythmic overhaul.
