This was my second time seeing Blitzen Trapper and again they did not disappoint. First off the renovations at the Paradise are great: there's a lot more open, the poles are not directly in front of the stage anymore and they can fit a bunch more people in there. Blitzen Trapper performed like I expected them too - and that's not a bad thing. They jammed out to a bunch of new stuff off of Destroyer of the Void and still played all the classics. When Eric Earley pulled out the harmonica all the woodsy goodness really came out in full force. There were epic guitar solos, Eric Earley solo ballads, jokes, keyboard solos, and some awesome harmonica. Pretty much the quality I've come to expect from Blitzen Trapper. I even forget which songs I liked best from the show. Plus, they were onstage for almost an hour and a half!

Did you catch Faces on Film? I love them, but have never seen them live (except when Mike Fiore has played with other bands).
I unfortunately missed Faces on Film. I wasn't able to get to the show in time, but I will check them out now - thanks!
