A to Z Challenge, Chapter A.

So I'm commuting around 7-8 hours a week, plus sometimes more than 10 on the weekends. It's a total suckfest, especially surrounded by asshole massachusetts drivers. But that's another story for another time.

The important takeaway is that I've found a lot of extra time to listen to music. Lots of music. So much time for so much music that I have been having trouble deciding what to listen to.

Hence, the A-Z challenge.

My iPod has 40 days of music on it. At the rate of 8 hours a week, that's over a years worth of commuting. Will I make it? No. Almost assuredly not. But "We are nothing if we do not try", or something else that sounds like a quote from some old revolutionary.

After around 3 weeks of listening, I've gotten through the letter A. 555 songs. Brilliant and Brutal. Here's the shakedown, and some tracks for your earz.

Most songs: Animal Collective (59)
Worst songs: Andrew W.K.? I dunno...I like some of his stuff, but I was definitely not in the right mood for songs like "Party Hard" and "It's Time To Party". Also, ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead sucks. Not impressed.
Reaffirmed Love For: Andrew Bird, Animal Collective, Architecture in Helsinki, Aretha Franklin
Long Overdue Love: Afro Cuban All Stars, Atmosphere,
Top New Cut: Atmosphere - "Domestic Dog"
Weirdest juxtapöz: Afro Cuban All Stars --> Afroman --> Ah Ha. Weird.
Go Listen To:

Atmosphere - Domestic Dog

AmpLive (f. Codany Holiday) - 15 Stepz

Animal Collective - Grass

Audioslave - Doesn't Remind Me
