Children of the Corn

So this post has nothing to do with the campy Halloween favorite, Children of the Corn that features some ingenious uses of crop irrigation to defeat the antichrist. But this first song if by Flying Lotus, about whom I talked about a few months ago. I'm not going to restate myself here, but here is Mr. Lotus' version of Promiscuous Girl by Nelly Furtado off of his new Shhhh EP. Ballin, but in a weird way. It still conjures up memories of Stupot and Ben Davis in the fur coat....

Flying Lotus - Promiscuous

Next up are these traxx from OCDJ who in the vein of the tremendous Ratatat remixes fuses rap vocals with in his case tiny bopping 8 bit tunes. Its actually pretty cool, like someone playing a little electronic organ behind some rhymes. Well, check it out and his last album is called Hooray from 2007. A nice break from all the heavy remixes out there. Imagine a less insane Dan Deacon messing around.

OCDJ - Woopash
OCDJ - Guess What!

PS. the Celtics signed the star of 2004's smash hit The Perfect Score Darius Miles last week. Now we just need Qrich to throw up those antenna.
