Want To Write A Hit Song? Sing About Ray-Bans.

I have a theory. It's a simple theory, and - if followed correctly - will lead you to write brilliant and addictive pop songs. Ready? Here it is.

Write about Ray-Ban glasses.

Simple as that. A quick survey has proven that every single one of the three songs in my iTunes library containing the words "Ray-Ban"is completely awesome, which, according to the rule of three, makes it scientifically proven.

It started with Le Corps Mince De Francoise, which (if I'm not mistaken) is some sort of Spanish band. The song is incredible, as I detailed in...detail, right here.

The theory was just further proved by A-Trak, one of the most impressive DJs in the game right now. Teaming up with hip hop newcomer (and Kanye protege) CyHi Da Prynce, he crafts an addictively dirty tune that keeps finding its way into my ears every time I put on my headphones. Please don't sleep on this track if you like any sort of hip hop at all.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to write some songs about Ray Ban glasses.
